Special Provisions – Life Insurance

The special provisions with respect to the contract terms in a life insurance policy will include some of the important clauses like the suicide clauses, in a suicide clause it should be noted that the policy will become null and void if the person who is insured commits the life insurance act of suicide within the time specified in the contract which is normally two years from the date of purchase. Some of the other grounds with respect to the nullification of the contract include any misrepresentation of the facts by the person who are insured under the life insurance policy. The face amount with respect to the life insurance policy is also another major contract term which denote that it is the initial amount with respect to the policy and which becomes payable at the death of the person who is insured or in the event of the policy getting matured this is inspite of the fact that the actual benefit it case of death will provide for greater value than face amount or lesser value than amount. It should be noted that like the life insurance the health insurance and the home insurance are also based on some of the same insurance principles as the life insurance
