Is It Advisable To Stop School Uniforms?

When we look at the research done on lack of school uniforms and discipline problems, there is greater chance among students who dress in clothes related to what they see in films, to get into all problems. Some students who are not in school uniforms but in other expensive dresses tend to be the target of violent groups who are also jealous of them. So, these students do not like to go to school as they feel that they would be targeted. And slowly they become dropouts. So, in a way the imposing of school uniforms help in bringing down the violence to a larger extent inside and outside campus. By bringing about school uniforms, the school authorities have shown their responsibility in bringing about proper discipline in school. But, today it is a common sight to see students fighting to get away from school uniforms as they feel that they are treated like small kids and given a chance to express themselves. But the parents or the school authorities should not give in to such type of wrong ideas as it would definitely cause a lot of problems among not only students but also the students and school committee.
